A member of the well-known Cuban Céspedes family of musicians, Bobi's unique voice sings for the Orishas, the Yoruba deities of her Lucumi religion. Settled in the United States since 1959 she is a rare and important member of the Afro-Cuban religious community of San Francisco's bay area. Her music incorporates the sounds and beats of today's Afro-American culture into her Afro-Cuban heritage. A 'funkloric' approach all her own.
